Accountant – Full-time, Permanent – #18-05

Location: Edmonton

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accountant is responsible for the timely delivery and accuracy of various accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards, relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements, and APEGA policies, processes and procedures. This includes general ledger maintenance and preparing financial statements and forecasts.

Working as part of a team of financial professionals, the Accountant will provide and support the administration, coordination, and delivery of the Finance Department's services. This includes cross-training and back-filling Finance team members, as required.

Career Services Manager – Full-time, Permanent – External Posting – #17-27

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Career Services Manager is responsible for the oversight and execution of the development, improvement and maintenance of APEGA’s Career Services programs and initiatives.

Overseeing the Career Services department, this position will manage and provide guidance to the Career Services team in the administration and coordination of these services. Location: Edmonton

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Business Partner is responsible for executing on strategic Human Resources (HR) initiatives so that the organization attracts, manages, develops, and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future mandate.

Northern Alberta Branch Coordinator – Full-time, Permanent – #18-06

Location: Edmonton

Reporting to the Director of Outreach & Product Services, the Northern Alberta Branch Coordinator is responsible for acting as a liaison between APEGA and the Northern Branches. This includes, but is not limited to, hosting numerous events, ensuring the smooth delivery and execution, attending Edmonton Executive Branch Meetings, reconciling finances, and liaising with the Northern Branches to develop rapport within the community, other committees, and within the APEGA membership.

Senior Advisor & Council Relations – Full-time, Permanent – External Posting – #18-02

Location: Edmonton

Reporting to the Registrar & Chief Executive Officer (RCEO), the Senior Advisor & Council Relations plays a vital role in providing guidance, assistance and advice to Council and Council's Executive Committee to ensure their mandated duties and responsibilities are carried out. This includes regular engagement and collaboration with the President, Councillors, Committee Chairs, RCEO, and APEGA's Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

The Senior Advisor & Council Relations also plays an integral leadership role, and acts a trusted advisor to the RCEO, providing expert advice to enhance the overall strategic goals of APEGA. In addition, this position will be accountable for tracking and managing issues and concerns, ensuring commitments are acted upon in a timely manner, and striving to work effectively with Council, APEGA's ELT, staff, and key stakeholders. This position will be responsible for managing two Executive Assistants and performs all functions in a manner consistent with the Engineering and Geoscience Professions (EGP) Act, Regulations and Bylaws and all other applicable legislation related to the individual functions, business, and strategic plans and in alignment with the RCEO.

Technology Solutions Analyst – Full-time, Permanent – #18-04

Location: Edmonton

Reporting directly to the Information Technology Manager, the Technology Solutions Analyst is responsible for providing technical expertise in recommending and implementing technical solutions by utilizing a combination of applications (i.e., SharePoint, Nintex, PowerBI, etc.) to support business needs and objectives.

This position will require the successful candidate to lead the organizations efforts in digital process automation using the combination of SharePoint, Nintex, and PowerBI.

Web Content Specialist – Full-time, Permanent – #18-01

Location: Edmonton

Reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Communications, the Web Content Specialist is responsible for coordinating the planning, maintenance, and accessibility of APEGA’s website and microsites, ensuring consistency in layout, positioning, and navigation to best reflect APEGA's brand and professional image. The Web Content Specialist will work collaboratively with representatives of all areas in APEGA to ensure that content is current, accurate, and consistently edited.
