Director of Communications – Full-time, Permanent – External Posting

Location: Edmonton

Reporting to the Registrar & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Director of Communications is responsible for the development, promotion, and protection of APEGA’s reputation, brand, and profile with key internal and external audiences, providing overall strategic leadership, direction, and guidance for all communications and public relations strategies and programs.

The Director of Communications plays an integral leadership role, fostering strong partnerships with the Executive Team and key internal and external stakeholders (including government officials, Members and the public) to plan, design, and implement activities aimed at enhancing the organization’s visibility and public profile in line with the overall strategic goals of APEGA. 

The Director of Communications performs all functions in a manner consistent with the Engineering and Geoscience Professions (EGP) Act, Regulations and Bylaws and all other applicable legislation related to the individual functions, business, and strategic plans and in alignment with the Registrar & CEO.

HR Business Partner – Full-time, Permanent – #17-21

Location: Edmonton

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR Business Partner is responsible for executing on strategic Human Resources (HR) initiatives so that the organization attracts, manages, develops, and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future mandate.

Career Services Manager – Full-time, Permanent – External Posting – #17-27

Location: Edmonton

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Career Services Manager is responsible for the oversight and execution of the development, improvement and maintenance of APEGA’s Career Services programs and initiatives.

Overseeing the Career Services department, this position will manage and provide guidance to the Career Services team in the administration and coordination of these services. APEGA is seeking an entrepreneurially inclined individual to apply their business acumen to elevate the Career Services team and create more value for members.
