Rock & Fossil Clinic

The APEGA Rock and Fossil Clinic is held yearly in October at the TELUS World of Science in Edmonton. This public event serves as an introduction to the wonders of geoscience and what a career in geoscience could look like.

Have you found an interesting rock or fossil that you would like identified? Volunteer geoscientists and geoscience students are available on-site to examine and provide feedback on specimens. They also lead a hands-on activity, designed to further expose youth to geoscience principles. This fun event is free for everyone.

The 24th annual APEGA Rock and Fossil Clinic will be held at the TELUS World of Science - Edmonton on Saturday October 14th, 2017. Join us from 10 am to 4 pm to explore Earth Science in a hands-on learning environment.
