Value Engineering/Analysis, as defined by SAVE International, is "a systematic process used by a multidisciplinary team to improve the value of a project through the analysis of its functions." This presentation will discuss the concepts behind Value Engineering, explore its applications, and highlight its benefits.

This presentation will explain Value Engineering's methodology, history, and its application, and will review case studies. The presenter will also introduce a hybrid approach, combining Value Engineering and Risk Analysis, and will discuss why it is vital to integrate these two methodologies.
