Permit to Practice Seminar

This 2.5 hour seminar is on APEGA’s expectations for Permit Holders and Responsible Members. Responsible Members must attend a Permit to Practice seminar within six months of being added as a Responsible Member, and then at least once every five years.
This seminar covers:
- Permit to Practice administration
- How to create and maintain a professional practice management plan
- The roles and responsibilities of a Responsible Member
- APEGA’s discipline and enforcement process
Daniel Lawrysyn, P.Eng. FEC, FGC(Hon.), has been with APEGA since May 2017 in the role of Professional Practice Advisor responsible for Individual Practice. Daniel graduated from the University of Regina and has been working within the engineering profession for 20 years. His work experience focused on environment and public safety and included roles with consulting companies, private industry and municipal government. He attained his Fellowship with Engineers Canada and Geoscientists Canada (Honorary) through his volunteer work with APEGA.
