Permit to Practice Seminar

This 2.5 hour seminar is on APEGA’s expectations for Permit Holders and Responsible Members. Responsible Members must attend a Permit to Practice seminar within six months of being added as a Responsible Member, and then at least once every five years.
This seminar covers:
- Permit to Practice administration
- How to create and maintain a professional practice management plan
- The roles and responsibilities of a Responsible Member
- APEGA’s discipline and enforcement process
Jason Kalapurakal, P.Eng., is based in Edmonton. He is a member of APEGA's Admissions team. He has 14 years of engineering experience in the telecommunications, machine building, oilfield, and valve manufacturing industries. His engineering experience includes design and analysis of telecommunication towers, heavy equipment, automated and semi-automated assembly & test systems. Prior to joining APEGA as an employee, he was most recently managing the implementation of process improvement projects aimed at optimizing manufacturing operations and introducing new products into production. Jason obtained a B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering from Ryerson University in 2001.
